Molecular Biotechnology in Aachen

Modern molecular biotechnology, with its numerous application-oriented techniques, encourages new ways of addressing important questions in medicine, chemistry and biotechnology, as well as in the sustainable use of valuable resources. At the Fraunhofer IME we use molecular biotechnology methods in fundamental research projects to develop specific processes and products, all in close cooperation with our industrial partners.
